Campus Services and Events
Campus Services is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Milton Academy calendar; events scheduling, planning/hosting, and consultative services; dining, catering & snack bar; student transportation; external rentals of athletic and non-athletic spaces via individual contracts and clubs (pool & tennis, squash); and Town of Milton (town/gown) relations. To fulfill these activities, Campus Services ensures that both in-house and outsourced service providers are well coordinated. Ultimately, Campus Services is focused on ensuring that the mission of the School is fulfilled through meeting the varied space needs of all divisions and departments, as well as on-campus residents. In addition, Campus Services helps fund the School’s mission-focused activities by maximizing external space rental and event hosting opportunities; examples include company and executive events and retreats, movie filming, advertisement photography, camp rentals (e.g., basketball, lacrosse, field hockey), ice rink rentals, weddings, bar mitzvahs, and remembrance ceremonies.

Coach Bus Service
In an ongoing effort to streamline vendor services and maximize purchasing power, Milton has contracted with Local Motion as the school’s coach bus carrier.
The Academy transportation policy states that all trips under 1 hour and 15 minutes (one-way) permit the use of yellow bus service (provided by First Student) or Academy vans. Trips with travel times of over 1 hour and 15 minutes (one-way) also have the option of taking a coach bus.

Student Transportation
For students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 the primary means of transportation is carpools organized by parents. Milton does not provide transportation for students in these grades. We recognize that transportation to school may pose a challenge to families, especially those not living in Milton. Students in Grades 6 – 12 have the option of using a bus service arranged by Milton and provided by Local Motion. There is an additional cost for this service.
