Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach
Milton Academy is seeking an assistant strength and conditioning coach to help develop and implement both in-season and off-season strength, speed, and conditioning programs for many of the varsity athletic teams. Programs include teaching Olympic and Power Lifts, Speed and Agility Development, Flexibility and Mobility Concepts, and Metabolic Conditioning.
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree, be CPR certified, and have previous experience working with high school athletes in a strength and conditioning environment. Preference for candidates that hold a CSCS certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, or a similar certification. Membership in the National Strength and Conditioning Association a plus. Hours for this position are 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Milton Academy is a member of the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) and participates in the Independent School League (ISL).
Middle School Soccer Coaches
The Middle School seeks soccer coaches for the fall athletic season, beginning on September 11 and ending on November 16.
Responsibilities include organizing practices to help improve fundamental skills and motivating student-athletes. The coach provides strategy, physical training, and techniques to help their student-athletes reach individual and team success.
Team practices run from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. and game days are scheduled on Wednesdays and Fridays. There are no weekend commitments.
