Joseph Hines – Director of Dining Services
Joe came to Milton in 2012 as the dining services director from the Cambridge School of Weston. Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree in Culinary and Business from Johnson and Wales University and an MBA from Curry College. Milton Academy’s dining services benefits from Joe’s twenty plus years of experience in various culinary entrepreneurial endeavors. Joe resides on the South Shore with his wife and their four children.
Michael Santoemmo – Director of Catering
Michael Santoemmo has a Master’s Degree from Johnson and Wales University and came to Milton in 2005 from Brown University where he was the Director of Catering Operations. With 20 years of Catering experience, Michael brings with him an impeccable reputation with a keen eye for detail. In 2007, Michael won Milton Academy’s “Unsung Hero Award” and Flik’s elite “Presidents Award”.
Benji Solivan – Executive Chef
Benji came to Milton in 2006 from Starwood Hotels where he was the Sous Chef. While at Starwood, his property was awarded “Best in Class” for the nation. Benji has a Bachelor of Science degree from Johnson and Wales and has over 20 years of food service experience. Benji lives in Mansfield, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
Jose Sequeira – Sous Chef
Jose began at Milton in March 2012, bringing fine dining background experience from working in country clubs and hotels. Jose is the Sous Chef at Elliott Commons, providing outstanding food and service daily. Along with being highly skilled in a variety of cuisines, Jose is also multilingual, speaking English, Spanish and Portuguese.
