Filming at Milton Academy

Milton Academy, a 130-acre independent K-12 school (boarding and day in the Upper School) located eight miles south of Boston, offers extensive campus facilities and services for filming projects. Buildings include classic ivy-covered academic centers and dorms as well as newer architecture such as our state-of-the-art Pritzker Science Center. Numerous playing fields, gyms, squash courts, dining halls and a theatre in the round are also available. Close proximity to Boston makes Milton Academy an ideal location for filmmakers. The School has been used as a film location and/or base camp for several productions including:

  • The Judge (2013)
  • The Makeover (2012)
  • The Company Men (2010)
  • The Social Network (2010)
  • The Box (2009)
  • What’s the Worst that Could Happen (2001)
  • The Witches of Eastwick (1987)

Our staff brings vast experience in working with location scouts (during site visits) and production teams (during filming). A Milton Academy representative stays with your team while on campus to assist with your use of the facilities and any immediate needs that might arise.
