Milton Academy Squash Club

squash-club-logoThe Milton Academy Squash Club was established September 1, 2015. It is an organization for squash players of all ages and levels to enjoy the game, gain exposure, develop skills, participate in friendly competition, and promote development of the sport. The club was created to increase access to Milton’s Williams Squash Courts facility to include Milton Academy families and the general public. Through a positive environment that promotes sportsmanship, respect and good health, members can enjoy the many opportunities and camaraderie that the sport of squash offers.

Who is eligible to become a member of the Milton Academy Squash Club?

Membership is open to Milton Academy affiliates and to the general public. Both individual and family memberships are available.

What is in the Milton Academy squash facility?

The Williams Squash Court facility at Milton Academy includes seven international courts, stadium seating for one court, lower and upper viewing decks for all courts, and (small) men’s and women’s locker rooms.

How can I reserve space or sign up for lessons?

The club uses an online reservation system, Club Locker, for members to reserve courts, find playing partners, sign up for lessons and clinics, and receive news about club events.  

Is there an attendant at the club?

Yes, a desk attendant will be present during all club hours.  

Where is the squash facility located?

The Williams Squash Court facility is located on Milton Academy’s campus at 170 Centre Street, Milton, Massachusetts. The facility is set back and to the left of the Athletic and Convocation Center. There is ample parking in front of the Athletic Center and squash facility.

When is the club open?

The club is open year round, with shortened hours during Milton Academy’s Thanksgiving, winter, spring and summer breaks. Hours of operation are as follows and may be subject to change. Since the club operates within the School’s facility, it is sometimes affected by early closures, snow days, and School events. Over time, these hours may expand based on member feedback, student use patterns, and facility upkeep needs.

How do I become a member?

Individual and family memberships to the club are available through Milton Academy’s campus services and events office. Options include academic year and full year memberships. Membership provides access to the courts and programs, and it supports the upkeep of the facility. Please contact the club director for membership forms and payment options at squash@milton.edu Families or individuals in need of financial assistance should also contact the director.

May I bring guests to the club?

Members can purchase single or multiple guest passes to the club ahead of time or on site through the desk attendant.

How and when can I contact the director of the club?

Milton’s Squash Club director works within Milton Academy’s campus services and events department and is responsible for membership and communication, staff and coaches, daily operations and facility upkeep, and scheduling and booking. The director also coaches the boys’ varsity squash team. The director will be at the squash building at varying times throughout the day. Please contact the club director at squash@milton.edu
