| Overview
Creative Stages, designed for students entering 6th–9th grade, embraces the art of creating new performances by developing an original show during the one week program. Throughout the course of the week, students will create theater through the process of devising. Devising combines structured improvisations with direction, which leads to polished theater. Because we begin at zero and work our way up, the show belongs to the actors in a unique way. It is a fun, exciting and challenging artistic process. During the day, students will participate in theater games and improvisation activities. The week culminates with a performance of our original show on the last day of the program.
