| Overview
Kaleidoscope, an arts and creativity program is returning for its 6th successful year under the direction of Mary Stack. The program is specifically designed for children aged 7 to 13 years.
Sessions run from July 21 through August 8, 2008 and students can sign up for one, two or three weeks.
The day runs from 9 am – 4 pm, Monday through Friday and the fee includes lunch, swimming (when available) in the Milton pool and a Kaleidoscope t-shirt.
The Program
Kaleidoscope’s unique approach rotates students through four stimulating hands-on classes daily. They enjoy sessions in art, where they create puppets, masks and papier-mâché design. Students learn dramatic and presentation techniques in improvisational theater. They are challenged to think on their feet, building and constructing solutions in problem-solving sessions and they can delve into their imaginations to express their ideas in creative writing.
The beauty of the Kaleidoscope experience is that classes are small and taught by qualified, enthusiastic instructors in an atmosphere which is creative, productive and relaxed.
