The Academic Skills Center offers a quiet, faculty monitored study hall four nights each week (Monday through Thursday, 7–9 p.m.). Students interested in spending free periods in the ASC are welcomed to enjoy our quiet and spacious facility throughout the day and evening.
All Class IV students participate in faculty and peer tutor-monitored study halls throughout their first semester at Milton. Study halls meet on the top floor of the Cox Library. A peer tutor is available in each study hall to assist students with organizational help or course-specific help in select courses. All Class IV students receive a “Study Skills Guide,” which is published each year by the ASC. This guide is a compilation of organizational, time management and study skills that are recommended by the ASC. The Guide outlines the “Master Binder System” which is recommended to students as a system for maintaining their course materials.
