    • Students focus on academics and class coursework
    • Students explore range of extracurriculars

Class III Year


September–May
    • Students continue to focus on coursework and extracurriculars

    • Parents’ Weekend—”Informal Q&A with College Counseling Office” for parents

    • Students take practice ACT

Class II Year


September–October
    • College Mini Fairs, where students can learn about schools from college admission officers
      PSAT
    • Parents’ Weekend—introduction to the college counselors

    • College Counseling Kick-off

    • Begin meeting with college counselors

    • Begin visiting colleges
Spring Semester
    • Standardized testing
    • Be aware of colleges’ visit programs that might be of interest

    • BISCCA College Fair—meet and talk with admission officers from more than 100 colleges and universities

    • College Counseling Office assembly on essay writing
    • AP Exams

    • Begin writing essays and supplements
    • Common Application available in August
