*  The BISCCA College Fair (Boston Independent School College Counselors Association) will be held at Milton this Sunday, April 27 from 1:00-4:00p.m. Over 120 college representatives will be in attendance. Put this on your calendar! The fair is an opportunity to gather initial information about many colleges and to meet the admissions officers who will very likely be reading your applications.  If your parents live in the area, they are also welcome.

 

*  The deadline for completing the second of your two required meetings this spring is this Friday, April 25. If your advisor was unable to attend your first meeting, he/she should attend the second meeting.  Bring your completed yellow sheet to the second meeting. If you would like to come in for additional meetings to talk about essays, interviews, or financial aid, etc., feel free to schedule those additional meetings with any one of the college counselors, preferably after April 25.

 

*  The registration deadline for the June 7 SAT Reasoning and Subject Tests is May 6. Milton is NOT a test center. Note: graduation is June 6.

 

*  Colleges That Change Lives: A panel presentation and college fair will be conducted by Colleges That Change Lives at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston on Thursday, May 22 at 7:00pm.  Visit http://www.ctcl.com for more information.

Claremont Colleges: Members of the Claremont Colleges Ð Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and Scripps Ð invite you to attend an information session at the Newton Marriot on May 21 from 7:00 Ð 9:00pm. Lafayette College: Junior Visiting Day, a chance for juniors and their families to learn about Lafayette and the admissions process, will be Saturday, April 26 on LafayetteÕs campus.
