Each year Class I students are asked to make a gift to the Annual Fund. Select members of the graduating class serve as class agents and help educate their classmates about the importance of giving to the Annual Fund.

What
is Project 2008?
Project 2008 is Milton Academy’s Class I gift.
Project 2008 is run by your new class agents and it is your chance to contribute to Milton’s Annual Fund. Think of it as a way to give back before you leave Milton!
The money raised by Class I students is used by the Academy as part of its operating budget.
Why does Milton need
to raise extra money?
Tuition and endowment income alone aren’t enough to supply students and faculty with the kind of Milton experience you’re having. The Annual Fund fills this gap.
For years, Milton alumni, parents and friends have been giving to the Annual Fund to support the education of current students. They have been supplementing your financial aid, faculty salaries, sports equipment, community service programs, and student publications.
How might my gift to
the Annual Fund be used?
A gift of $25 from 40 of you would cover the cost of hosting all of the colleges that come to visit Milton throughout the year.
A gift of $20 from 60 of you would pay for all of the travel expenses (vans, gas, etc.) that get you to your community service programs in one year.
A gift of $10 from 100 of you would provide all of the costumes for the Dance Concert.
A gift of $5 from 20 of you would supply the Athletic Department with all of its office needs for the year.
Is my small gift really
helpful?
Yes! The impact of a small gift should not be underestimated! Last year, over 50 percent of donors made gifts of $100 or less to the Annual Fund. Your PARTICIPATION is the most important thing.
