Reunion Weekend at Milton Academy is a time to re-connect with Milton and fellow classmates.  The gathering provides the opportunity to learn about the culture and programs of Milton today while sharing memories of yesterday.  This year’s Reunion Weekend will take place on June 13 and 14, 2008.   

The scheduling of this year’s weekend affords several unique and exciting opportunities.  On-campus housing options will be offered to reunion guests, and Milton Academy’s treasured campus spaces will play host to class gatherings. 

Reunions are occasions to see long-time friends, and through your presence and support, reinvigorate your relationship with Milton.  Reunion giving is a vote of confidence in the School and an opportunity to make a special gift in honor of your time at Milton.  We hope you will play a role in this special occasion!

Reunion Volunteer Job Description

Reunion volunteers are expected to:

• Lead by example.  Make your reunion gift commitment early in the fiscal year.
• Be an advocate and active fund raiser for Milton Academy.
• Help set ambitious goals for your class reunion gift effort.
• Solicit reunion gifts and pledges from a select group of classmates.
• Encourage Reunion Weekend attendance from a select group of classmates.
• Send personal fund raising letters, emails, and make calls from home throughout the year.
• Work with the Fund staff to set class or section goals, update suggested ask amounts, provide feedback about your class and develop solicitation strategies.
• Attend Reunion Committee meetings, alumni events and Reunion Weekend. 
• Be an informed ambassador for Milton. By talking about Milton today you will be able to engage your classmates with the school and encourage them to participate in your class gift and reunion celebrations.
