Both the Lower School Parent Handbook and the Middle School Student Handbook serve as references and guides to K–8 students and parents. As references, they should provide answers when questions arise. As guides, they contain the School’s expectations, as well as the names of the people who help students meet those expectations. Both contain information about programs, policies and rules, as well as day-to-day logistics such a phone numbers, maps and calendars.
We have high expectations for our students. We assume that Milton students are capable and motivated to do their best, but we also understand that young people need adults who trust them and support them. We hope these handbooks are helpful to your family as you navigate these exciting years. Please read them carefully, and—as always—contact your child’s teacher, advisor, or any member of the K–8 administrative team if you have any questions.
