Milton wrestler Ken Lee ’05 of Thousand Oaks, California won the 171-pound weight class at the Independent School League’s Graves-Kelsey Wrestling Tournament last weekend. His outstanding performance at the tournament and throughout the entire season made him the coaches’ choice for the coveted Louis Andrews Award.

The Louis Andrews Award presented at the Graves/ Kelsey tournament (an award separate from Milton Academy's Louis Andrews Scholarship, presented at the annual Academy prize assembly) commemorates the qualities of excellence embodied by Louis Andrews, Milton Academy's wrestling coach for 33 years. It is awarded annually to the wrestler who, as selected by the coaches, is the most outstanding wrestler of the tournament.

Milton finished fifth out 15 teams at the tournament; three Milton wrestlers placed in the top two spots. In addition to Ken’s top finish, sophomore Max Stratouly, placed second in the 113-pound division, while senior Ross Reilly placed second in the 160-pound division. Next weekend, those wrestlers will participate in the New England Prep Championships.
