The
Parent Giving Program at Milton Academy encompasses the Parents’
Fund and the Class I Parent Gift. A component of the Annual Fund,
the Parents’ Fund generates almost 25 percent of the total
unrestricted dollars raised. The Annual Fund is money raised to
support the yearly operating budget of the School; in fact, it typically
provides 10% of the operating budget.
The Class I Gift is a longstanding tradition at Milton Academy.
For over 20 years, parents of Class I students have come together
to make a significant gift in honor of their children’s graduation.
The Class of 1984 parents raised money for Cox Library resources;
the Classes of 1996 and 1997 helped to fund the construction of
the Athletic and Convocation Center; and the Classes of 2004, 2005
and 2006 have raised money in support of Milton’s new science
center.
Every gift counts! Milton needs every family to help maintain the
Academy’s excellence. Your contribution is a vote of
confidence in the School and in the importance of your child’s
experience.
