In Their Own Words:
What Milton Students Have to Say

Milton classes are taught in a manner that really challenges students, both by teachers and by other students. The round table discussion style in which classes are taught really force students to think and take part in intelligent conversations that help enlighten students and enable them to grow intellectually.
- David Koretz

Teachers are what make Milton special for a lot of students.
- Rebby Bliss

When day students and boarders, especially those who don't really interact with the other group socially enough, meet and hang out and go to each other's "homes," they learn a lot about the school that they had until then not seen fully. Its a kind of connection that surprises you every time and is one of the more meaningful aspects at Milton and that is not to say that the two communities are perfectly synergetic but its cool when you spark a friendship.
- Henry Shepherd

Milton gives students an atmosphere which is relaxed and open, and allows us to be ourselves. It gives us an opportunity to experiment and try brand new things.
- Jamal Whyles

I like the amount of opportunities you have here. A lot of kids don't seem to appreciate the amount of activities and great courses available at Milton. I went to public school before, where there were no clubs or school sports to participate in. I guess I have an extra appreciation for what you get here.
- Siobhan Atkins

I know that we are diverse compared to other schools, but we still need to move forward.
- Nelson Fernandez

People are actually interested in learning at Milton, maybe a little too much. If you want to learn, the resources are here. There are also a lot of sports to do even if you're not into the traditional jock sports...take me for example...I ski and sail...most people don't even call those sports.
- Kit Will

Are you curious?
Do ideas matter to you?
Do you like a challenge?
Would you try something new?
Would you like feeling really proud of your friends?
Do you care deeply about some things?
Do you like thinking about lots of things at once?
Do you like to laugh?
Can you laugh at yourself?

Is your answer "yes?"
Then Milton is the school for you.
