Milton Conserves and Recycles

As a community of students, faculty and staff, we preserve our resources not only to save dollars and our environment, but also to help a very small planet grow more politically stable and economically viable. Developing countries and economically disadvantaged people bear a disproportionate share of the ecological, social and political costs when developed countries exploit resources.

We can affect the lives and the future of people around the world, simply by being responsible and thoughtful as we make choices every day. Our actions in buying, and using, and discarding have far-reaching implications. Join with others in taking action to make change happen: think before you buy or drive, switch off a light, put your computer on standby, toss your empty soda can in the recycling bin. It’s easy to conserve and recycle at Milton.
