The facilities at the Milton Academy Pool Club include the following:

  • Pool with pool chairs, lounges and rinsing showers; 8 foot deep end and 3 foot shallow end
  • Picnic area
  • Small children’s playground
  • Field space
  • Convenient adjacent parking

* Note: 10 per person Guest Passes will be issued per season as part of a family membership enrollment. Additional passes are available for purchase. Guests must complete a waiver form prior to participating.

Membership

Registration for the Pool Club is based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note membership numbers are limited. Membership options include family membership, individual membership, weekly membership, and daily passes.

Youth Private Swim Lessons

We are pleased to announce that swim lessons will be available this summer.  Private and semi-private swim lessons are offered for a variety of levels.  From a beginner who wants to learn the basics to an experienced swimmer looking to improve their skills, our instructors can help.  All instructors are experienced in providing swim lessons. You must be signed up for a Pool Club membership before scheduling lessons.

July 5 – 9  (Mon-Fri)
10am – 1:30pm

August 8 – 12 (Mon-Fri)
10am – 12:30pm

August 15 – 19 (Mon-Fri)

Children’s Private Lessons (one child and one instructor)
For children ages 4 and older
$42. per 30 minute lesson

This is a one-on-one 30 minute lesson for your child with one of our instructors.  We recommend these lessons for children of all levels to increase their water skills significantly over the summer.

Children’s Semi-Private Lessons (2-3 children and one instructor)
For children ages 7 and older
$32. per 30 minute lesson

These lessons are for a maximum of three children who must be at the same ability level. The swim instructor will test ability levels at the first lesson. Cost is per child.

Payment is due via check at time of lessons.

Club Rules for Members and Guests

The pool attendant or lifeguard will ask members to sign in during each visit. All guests must sign in each time they visit the pool, and sign a waiver form available with pool staff prior to using the pool club. Sign-in sheets will be reconciled by the campus services and events office to ensure compliance.

Children 13 and under must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children 14 and over will be allowed to swim without parental supervision but will have this privilege revoked if they disobey pool rules, including being disruptive.

Posted rules must be obeyed. No food or glass bottles are allowed in the pool area. Members and their guests may bring food to campus, to be eaten outside of the pool area, and dispose of their trash and recycling in the nearby receptacles when finished.

No alcohol or audio devices are allowed on campus. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area, please do not bring your dog to campus when using the pool club.

Parking Guidelines

Parking is permitted in the Pool parking lot, located just beyond the pool off of Randolph Avenue. Please do not park on Randolph Avenue.

Pool Closings

Any National Weather Service storm warning for thunder, lightning, or heavy rain will cause the pool to close. The pool will also be closed if there is an imbalance in the chemicals, if there is foreign matter detected in the pool, or for other unforeseen conditions. Please see the orange banner at the top of this page for pool closure announcements.
