Club Rules for Members and Guests
The pool attendant or lifeguard will ask members to sign in during each visit and confirm that waivers are on file. All member guests must sign a waiver each time they visit the pool. Sign-in sheets will be reconciled by the campus services and events office.
Children 13 and under must always be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Children 14 and over will be allowed to swim without parental supervision but will have this privilege revoked if they disobey pool rules, including being disruptive.
Posted rules must be obeyed. No food or glass bottles are allowed in the pool area. Members and their guests may bring food to campus, to be eaten outside of the pool area, and dispose of their trash and recycling in the nearby receptacles when finished.
No alcohol or audio devices are allowed on campus. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area; dogs also may not be left on campus, either in vehicles or on fields, when using the pool club.
Parking Guidelines
Parking is permitted in the Pool parking lot, located just beyond the pool off of Randolph Avenue. Please do not park on Randolph Avenue.
Pool Closings
Any National Weather Service storm warning for thunder, lightning, or heavy rain will cause the pool to close. The pool will also be closed if there is an imbalance in the chemicals, if there is foreign matter detected in the pool, or for other unforeseen conditions. Please see the orange banner at the top of this page for pool closure announcements.
