Join us in congratulating Arnie Macdonald ’77 of Bernstein Shur, who has received the prestigious 2025 Muskie Access-to-Justice Award for his extraordinary pro bono work in Maine. After stepping back as a partner to focus full-time on legal aid, Arnie has helped secure asylum for over 40 clients and earned multiple honors from the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project. He has also played a key role in strengthening Maine’s legal service infrastructure through leadership with ILAP, the Maine Justice Foundation, and the ABA’s IOLTA Commission. Read more.
