Chief Financial and Operating Officer
Milton Academy is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to serve as its next Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFOO). Reporting to the Head of School and serving as a key member of the Leadership Team, the CFOO will oversee the school’s financial and operational functions and play a critical role in advancing Milton’s strategic vision and long-term financial sustainability. The Health Center operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the academic year, and per diem nurses provide coverage as needed to support student care. Penn Fellow
Since 2012, Milton’s Upper School has worked with the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education Independent School Teaching Residency program to welcome some of the country’s brightest new educators for an immersive training experience as they work toward master’s degrees. The Penn Fellowship program, of which Milton was a founding member, is a two-year residency that gives teaching fellows direct classroom experience along with opportunities to be involved in school life as boarding staff, coaches, and student advisors.
Fellows are mentored by veteran Milton teachers and receive support from their Penn professors and cohorts throughout the program. In turn, Milton students and faculty benefit immensely from the presence and energy of the fellows, who are studying the latest in pedagogy and teaching best practices.
