What’s Happening on Campus?

From dances to athletics; from School productions to our student-led Beatnik Café open-mic night, there is always something happening on campus. You can connect with goings on across campus—formal and informal. See what students and faculty are doing in several easy ways:

Check the website every day. Milton’s homepage delivers up-to-date news in many forms. Timely feature articles highlight student, faculty and alumni activities. Video and slideshows let you in on fun, ceremony, performance and exhibits. And everyone’s favorite, Photo of the Day, presents a serendipitous moment that, over time, conveys Milton culture.

Set up Milton’s calendar to serve you. Milton’s online calendar includes every major and minor event, on and off campus, involving Milton students, faculty or staff. When you explore the calendar, you can add events to your own calendar and sign up for email alerts. You can set it to sync or email a single event, or a category of events—like boys’ soccer, arts events, or weekend activities. You’ll see “Add to my calendar” and “Remind me by email” on the top bar of the calendar listings. Simply decide what works best for you and choose the option you’d like.

Open the Weekend Activities email from Dean José Ruiz. Dean Ruiz and activities director Kelly Reiser send parents an email once each month that details student weekend event plans. Rely on this summary to see what options students have for fun in their free time.

Dive deep into Centre Connection, Milton’s online parent newsletterCentre Connection is the place to meet faculty members; see a full art exhibit; understand a play that’s about to open in King Theatre and who’s acting; hear a presentation by a well-known public figure delivering one of Milton’s endowed lectures; follow a class visiting a Boston lab or hospital or museum. Centre Connection is published five times each year, and arrives in your email box. You’ll enjoy scanning the newsy content, and finding some favorite features.
