Documentary filmmaker Ian Cheney ’98 has done it again. Following the success of his award-winning short and feature documentary films—Two Buckets,King Corn and The Greening of Southie—Ian’s latest project, The City Dark, was nominated for a 2013 News & Documentary Emmy Award. The City Dark turns a focused eye on light pollution and its contribution to our “disappearing night.” The film premiered in competition at the South by Southwest Film Festival and in the theater at New York’s IFC Center.
