In 2010, math faculty member Peter Kahn organized the first Hoops for Haiti student-faculty basketball game. The event helped raised funds for those affected by the devastating earthquake which struck Haiti in January of that year. Four years later, Haitians are still suffering from displacement and disease. Continuing the support for those still in need, Milton hosted the fifth annual Hoops for Haiti on Thursday, February 27. All proceeds from the event will go to Haitian support efforts.
