The Massachusetts Art Education Association (MAEA) has named Ian Torney ’82 the 2025 Independent Schools Art Educator of the Year. A dedicated artist, educator, and curator, Ian has taught Visual Arts for over three decades. Since returning to Milton in 2012, he served as department chair for 10 years and now directs the Nesto Gallery.
