Tuition covers only 72% of a Milton education, so other sources of revenue, such as endowment revenue, help to bridge the gap. Endowment gifts help to minimize the school’s dependence on tuition and allow for long-term planning.

From $150 for one student to attend the AISNE Students of Color Conference to $5,000 to shuttle the Community Engagement Programs and Partnerships volunteers for a year, gifts of all levels to the Milton Fund provide the resources to meet the needs of Milton’s students, faculty, and staff that cannot be met through tuition or room and board alone. The Milton Fund provides a crucial 7% of the operating budget for Milton annually that meets a wide range of the school’s needs. Whether through extracurricular activities, financial aid, or resources for talented faculty members, your generosity makes a difference and fuels the essential programs that set Milton apart from other educational institutions. Thank you for your annual support.

Giving Societies

Members of the Milton Fund’s giving societies are the lifeblood of Milton Academy’s annual current-use budget. This year, 59.3% of donors to the Milton Fund were members of Milton Loyal, which recognizes donors who show their devotion to the school year after year with repeated annual giving. Members of our 1798 Circle, which recognizes our steadfast leadership donors, generously contributed 79% of our total Milton Fund dollars. Milton Loyal and 1798 Circle members ensure our financial stability to continue providing the best education to today’s engaged citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. Thank you!

Shout-Out to Todd Challenge:

In June, our community came together to share their well wishes for our outgoing Head of School Todd Bland. Our donors helped ensure the school will have the resources to continue Todd’s legacy of strengthening financial aid, expanding faculty development, broadening diversity and inclusion, and funding Milton’s greatest needs.
