A 1973 black-and-white photograph of Buckminster Fuller, Class of 1913, hangs in the Milton Academy admission office. He signed it, “To: Wonderful Milton Academy, where I learned how to organize thought and was urged to ‘Dare to be true’ to what I learned from organized thoughts.”
Since Buckminster’s death in 1983, appreciation for the legendary American inventor, architect, engineer, designer, geometrician, cartographer and philosopher has grown.
