Milton Academy is an independent college preparatory K–12 school, boarding and day in grades 9–12, located just outside of Boston.

Milton Academy seeks substitute teachers for lower school classes. This role will be utilized for absences that are planned as well as late-notification situations. Whenever possible, advanced notice will be given to a substitute so that they can prepare accordingly.

The substitute teacher will be expected to follow the lesson plans outlined by the primary teacher and work with other members of the Lower School faculty to ensure that there is effective classroom management and supervision of students both for the classes and other activities during the day (i.e. lunch, recess, etc.)

A successful candidate will have experience teaching, excellent organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
