Alumni Greg Chase and Laura Gottesdiener, both Class of 2006, took first, second and third place prizes in the 2010 Wallace Prize writing competition. The Wallace Prize is an undergraduate writing competition sponsored by Yale Daily News Magazine, which recognizes excellence in both fiction and non-fiction.
Greg earned a first-place Wallace Prize in creative writing for his short story titled “Middle School Dance,” and third prize in the same category for his story “Living the Dream.” Classmate Laura Gottesdiener received a second place prize in the non-fiction category for her story “Want to See the Girl Wrestle?”
