“Images of Cuba, ” opening in the Nesto Gallery on Friday, September 21 documents photographer David Caras’s many visits to Cuba. His photographs piece together his vision of the complex and beautiful country of Cuba and its people. With a professional resume that includes commercial photography, portraiture, and industrial photography, David found himself using a more documentary style in Cuba than he had in the past. He was “photographing proud, passionate people in their humble surroundings as they let him in to their lives.”
