Milton welcomed poet, educator, and Pulitzer Prize finalist Dorianne Laux to campus this month as one of this year’s Bingham Visiting Writers. Laux read from her latest collection, Life on Earth, and spoke with students about her inspiration and writing process. Laux received the Paterson Prize for her collection The Book of Men, the Oregon Book Award for Facts About the Moon, and has been a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. She was named a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in poetry for her book Only as the Day is Long: New and Selected Poems. Click here to learn more.
