At the Boston Globe‘s annual award ceremony recognizing this year’s scholar-athletes, Beverly Leon was named the prep school player of the year. The Globe cited Bev’s senior year record: She was the Independent School League (ISL) MVP in soccer, an ISL All-Star and team MVP in basketball, and an ISL All-Star in track after top-five finishes at New Englands in the triple jump and high jump.
Beverly was also honored at this year’s M-Club dinner, receiving the Priscilla Bailey Award for demonstrating “exceptional individual skills and teamwork as well as sportsmanship.”
