Milton Academy is seeking applicants for a full-time one-year teaching position in Mandarin Chinese. The position will begin in August 2024.
The teacher will be responsible for teaching four classes and engaging with students beyond the classroom. Native or near-native fluency in Chinese is required, as is a minimum of three years teaching Chinese language and literature at the secondary or collegiate level, a strong academic background, and exemplary teaching skills. An advanced degree is preferred but not required.
Other faculty member responsibilities at Milton Academy encompass advising, community, and residential life activities, among others.
