We are sad to share that longtime Milton faculty member Ethan Wyatt Bisbee passed away recently. Mr. Bisbee dedicated his life to teaching and had a passion for learning. During his time at Milton, Mr. Bisbee taught history and economics from 1953 to 1993. He also served as chair of the history department. Mr. Bisbee was a constant presence in students’ lives well beyond his interactions in the classrooms. He often would find other ways to assist and encourage students he did not have the pleasure of teaching. Mr. Bisbee’s dedication to not only his job, but to his students, is something generations of Milton graduates will never forget. He will be remembered fondly for his contributions to the Milton community. Learn more about his life.
