Printing on campus

Milton has many printers on campus that are available to students, faculty, and staff. All printers can be connected to Windows, Mac, Android, ChromeOS, and iOS devices.

Enabling Two-step Verification

Milton employees are required to enable two-step verification on their Milton Google account. This adds an additional barrier to help prevent unauthorized access to your account. Classroom Management

Milton uses Schoology in the Upper School for course management, and Google Classroom in the Middle School. Students and teachers can share information, assignments, and classwork through these systems.

MyMilton

MyMilton is a website with information for students, parents, and teachers. Beginning with the 2023-2024 academic year, many of its core functions are migrating to Veracross. Certain features remain in use, including back-to-school forms (parents/guardians), seminar day signup and elections (students), and other functionality as needed.

Milton employees may access the School’s network remotely through the School’s Virtual Private Network (VPN). Additionally, employees and students have access while on campus to certain software applications via our Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Eligible employees also have remote access to VDI once they have established a VPN connection.

Uses of VDI

  • Access M Drive or shared drives from off-campus or personal devices
  • Use Milton-licensed applications from personal devices (Word, Excel, locally-hosted academic software, etc.)
  • Use specialized software (e.g. Filemaker) from off-campus (certain employees only)
